Two Suspects Arrested in Last Weekend’s Federal Hill Killing, Search for Others Continues

Providence Police have made two arrests in the deadly attack on Stephen Cabral.

The attack took place early last Sunday morning when a swarm of men beat and stabbed Cabral while onlookers stood by.

According to Providence Police Major David Lapatin, the Providence Police continue to search for a number of others involved in the attack.

Cabral died as a result of injuries and his death was just the latest in a series of incidents tied to the club scene on Federal Hill and across Providence.

The attack took place in the parking lot of the Walgreens on Atwells Avenue last Sunday morning.

The attack was captured on video.

GoFundMe has been organized by Cabral's sister for funeral expenses. 

The incident is tied to the Federal Hill nightclub Seven and the Board of Licenses this coming week. The club has been closed since the attack.

The names of those arrested have not been released.
