They were ordered held without bail, with bail hearings scheduled for July 22. The Providence Police are still searching for additional suspects.

Next Steps

The Providence Board of Licenses is scheduled to meet Wednesday with a show cause hearing pertaining to the nightclub on Spruce Street — Seven — where Cabral and the suspects had been reportedly drinking prior to the attack.

The club has been closed following the attack; the hearing — or an appeal at the Department of Business Regulations — will determine whether the club will be allowed to reopen.

As GoLocal reported, the Federal Hill Commerce Association (FHCA) is demanding that the club be shut down.

Major David Lapatin had addressed the press on the death of Cabral, after he, and those involved in the fatal incident, had the deadly altercation after going to Club Seven.
