A boat fire in Bristol on Sunday afternoon prompted a public safety response - and no injuries were reported.

The incident occurred off the Mt. Hope Bridge.

According to the Bristol Fire Department:

Members battled this boat fire this afternoon in a tough to reach shallow area.

Operations from land and sea were used to put water on the fire.

Fortunately no injuries were reported.

Thanks to all the different agencies for their assistance.
