Fire Marshal on Record

Rhode Island State Fire Marshal Tim McLaughlin spoke with GoLocalProv.com on Tuesday morning about the incidents.

"We’re working diligently on it," said McLaughlin. "With 2 back to back -- the type of explosive, in particular, that we’re looking at is a concern. We’re working with police in Charlestown and Westerly as well as the ATF -- it could end up as a federal crime."

McLaughlin said both explosions were on private property.
