Prov Police Seek Help in Identifying Suspect Connected to CVS Robbery

The Providence Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect in connection to a robbery that took place on May 5 at the CVS on Hope Street.

According to police, the suspect is described as a white male in his 40s with tattoos on his hands, wearing a dark-colored zip-up hoodie, blue jeans, a camouflage baseball hat, reading glasses and a full beard.

Police note that the suspect may have stolen a Braun cordless razor at the time of the robbery and may no longer have a beard.

The Incident

According to Providence Police, the suspected entered the CVS Store on Sunday, May 5 around 8 p.m.

He approached the register and demanded a store employee to open it.

The employee complied and the subject proceeded to take an unknown amount of U.S. currency from the register.

He then exited the store and fled on foot.
