Providence City Hall Moving Back to Level II Coronavirus Restrictions, Limiting Occupancy

Providence City Hall is expected to move back a phase in coronavirus restrictions starting next week, limiting occupancy -- and staff that can work in the building. 

On Monday, the City Council received notification from the Administration regarding the plan to switch from the current Level III COVID-19 Building Operation to Level II.

Changes in Providence

The move is expected to go into effect starting on Monday November 23.

The key changes for the council under Level II are as follows:

-Only staff who deliver in-person constituent services may physically report to work.

-Building occupancy changes from 66% to 33%.
