Providence Police Seek Help in Identifying East Side Bank Robber

Providence Police Detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect involved in the robbery of the Citizens Bank on Hope street.

The robbery took place on Saturday, July 27.

The suspect is described as a black man wearing a yellow t-shirt and a black t-shirt wrapped around his neck.

Citizens Bank Robbery

According to police, bank employees said that the suspect entered into the bank and passed a note to the bank teller.

The suspect stated to the teller "DO AS THE NOTE SAYS."

The subject fled the scene and $3000.00 was stolen from the bank.
