Raimondo Orders RI Flags Lowered in Memory of Former Pawtucket Mayor Doyle

Governor Gina Raimondo has ordered all Rhode Island flags to be flown at half-staff  in memory of former Pawtucket Mayor James Doyle, who passed away last week. 

"Andy and I were saddened to hear of Mayor Doyle's passing. He was a true fixture in the city of Pawtucket, dedicating his life to serving the public. We send our prayers and condolences to the Doyle family and the people of Pawtucket," said Raimondo 

Flags are to be flown at half-staff at all state facilities and buildings starting at sunrise on Thursday, September 1 and remaining at half-staff until Tuesday September 6.

Raimondo has also asked Rhode Islanders to lower their state flags as a mark of respect.
