RI Criminal Justice Hall of Fame Announces 2018 Class

The Rhode Island Criminal Justice Hall of Fame has announced that seven people will be inducted as part of the class of 2018.

This year’s inductees include Providence Police Colonel Hugh Clements, The Honorable Walter Stone, Central Falls Police Chief Joseph Stetkiewicz, RI State Police Major Lionel “Pete” Benjamin, Family Services of RI’s Susan Erstling, Ph.D., LICSW, Roger Williams’ Robert McKenna and Providence Police detective Stephen Springer.

"This year's inductees to the Hall of Fame are trailblazers, leaders, and role models, and have contributed much to improving our criminal justice system," said Attorney General Kilmartin.

Kilmartin established the Hall of Fame in 2012. 

Induction Ceremony

The 2018 Rhode Island Criminal Justice Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick.
