RICAS 2018-2019 Math Rankings: RI’s Top - and Worst - Districts and Charters

On Tuesday, the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) released performance results for students in grades 3 through 8 on the Rhode Island Comprehensive Assessment System (RICAS) for 2018-2019.

Statewide in math, 29.76% of students are meeting or exceeding expectations. 

The breakdown for students meeting or exceeding expectations in math by grades is as follows:

Grade 3: 36.11
Grade 4: 32.56
Grade 5: 30.13
Grade 6: 27.95
Grade 7: 27.72
Grade 8: 24.26
