Jasmine Pina was found to have treated and transported patients without an active license.
She agreed to a consent decree with RIDOH. The agreement was signed on May 1, 2024.

According to the RIDOH enforcement action:
(1) Respondent's EMT license will be reinstated with the status of "Probation" for a period of 18 months, effective on the date of ratification of this Consent Order by RIDOH.
(2) During the period of Probation, Respondent must
(a) Complete a comprehensive review of the Rhode Island Emergency Medical Services Rules and Regulations [216-RICR-20-10-2], conducted by a Rhode Island licensed EMS Instructor/Coordinator selected or approved by the Department, within thirty (30) days of the start of this probationary period.
(b) Complete the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians . (NAEMT) "Principles of Ethics and Personal Leadership" 16-hour online course, which must be completed within thirty (30) days of the start of this probationary period. A certificate of completion must be provided to the department.
(c) During the period of probation, if Respondent changes employment and/or volunteer service, Respondent shall notify the Department forthwith of said change including the name and address of the new employer(s) and/or licensed ambulance service, as well as the reason for change in ambulance service affiliation.
(3) A copy of this Consent Order shall be forwarded by the Department to Respondent's current employer(s) and/or volunteer service and all future employer(s) and/or volunteer service during the period of probation.
