One week after the final paving, RIDOT is scheduled to install a concrete crosswalk north of the intersection of Park Row in the area of the Old State House.

Safety Upgrade

Along with paving, the $9.5 million project addresses pedestrian safety in the area, including bringing the existing sidewalks and handicapped ramps into ADA compliance, adding bump-outs at non-signalized intersections, new signing and striping, traffic signal system upgrades, and installing fiber optic cable.
