YWCA Rhode Island Announces 11th Annual Women of Achievement Honorees

YWCA Rhode Island has announced its 2015 Women of Achievement winners, who will be honored at their awards luncheon.

The luncheon will take place at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln on September 29, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The public is invited, and tickets are $50 per person, and a table for 10 can be reserved for $500.

The 13 Honorees are: Cheryl Albright, Carlene Casciano-McCann, Deborah DeBare, Carmen Diaz Jusino, Aleatha Dickerson, Rebeca Filomeno-Nason, Laurie Ludovici, Catalina Martinez, Sabina Matos, Edna O'Neill Mattson, Kathryn Quina, Kim A. Ripoli, and Charon Rose. 

11th Annual Awards Luncheon

The 13 women will be honored for their accomplishments in the fields of industry, culture and public service. The recipients come from a wide variety of backgrounds including: educators, public service officials, non-profit leaders, veterans, community volunteers, a performer, a scientist and an organization/volunteer partnership that works to rebuild homes.

An ‘Organization of the Year’ Award will also be recognized by YWCA Rhode Island at the event. This award will go to Rebuilding Together Providence and volunteers from Honeywell Hometown Solutions.

YWCA has sponsored this statewide recognition of women since 2005.
