ELECTION 2018 LIVE: Fung Says Raimondo and Trillo’s Coordination Will Not Stop His Victory

Cranston Mayor and GOP nominee for Governor Allan Fung continues to criticize what he says is the coordinated campaign between Democratic Governor Gina Raimondo and independent candidate Joe Trillo.

Fung says the collusion between the two will not impact his campaign and he predicts a victory today in Rhode Island.

Earlier today, GoLocal New Editor Kate Nagle caught up with Raimondo who denied the Fung claim. Raimondo and her husband Andy Moffit were voting at about 8:30 AM at Nathan Bishop Jr. High School in Providence.

The most recent GoLocal poll conducted in early October had Raimondo with 40 percent, Fung with 32 percent and Trillo with 17 percent. The rest of those polled were undecided or would not answer.
