RI GOP Announces New Executive Director

The Rhode Island Republican Party announced on Wednesday the appointment of Aiden Carey as its new Executive Director.

Carey is a 2020 graduate of La Salle Academy and a 2024 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science, focusing on political philosophy and theory. 

"Aiden is truly a breath of fresh air," said RI GOP Chair Joe Powers. "His passion, intellect, and tireless work ethic have already made a significant impact on our party's direction, and I am confident that in his new role as Executive Director, he will continue to play a crucial role in the development and growth of the RI Republican Party. We are incredibly fortunate to have someone of Aiden's caliber and drive helping to lead us into the future."

"Aiden has been a remarkable leader as the Chairman of the Lincoln Republican Town Committee, he was also elected as a Member of the Budget Board from Lincoln and his work on the By-Laws Committee as well as a key contributor to the AdHoc Messaging Committee has demonstrated his deep commitment and innovative approach to advancing our party's goals," said Powers.
