RI Latino PAC Announces New Leadership and Board

Melitzi Torres and Maribel Echeverry McLaughlin will succeed Joseph Molina Flynn and Marcela Betancur as the organization’s new President and Vice President.

“More than two decades later, RILPAC continues to pack a punch in Rhode Island’s political landscape.
RILPAC sad that two years ago, during their 20th year in operation, the outgoing board celebrated a fundraising win for the group, raising $27,000 in one year.
“This year has highlighted more than any other the importance of RILPAC’s work,” they continued. “RI’s Latinx community continues to be victimized by inequities, particularly in education and healthcare.”
