Beto O'Rourke is now criticizing the media in the aftermath of El Paso Mass Shooting.

The 2020 Democratic Presidential candidate went off on reporters in newly released audio, saying they're failing to notice President Donald Trump's connection to the incident.

O'Rourke, a Texas native, made the comments while at a vigil for victims of the shooting.

“What do you think? You know the sh-- he’s been saying. He’s been calling Mexican immigrants rapists and criminals. I don’t know, like, members of the press, what the f---?," said Beto O'Rourke, according to Sky News.

He then continued to slam the media, saying they are not "connecting the dots" behind Trump's rhetoric and increasing gun violence in the U.S.

Up until this past January, O'Rourke represented El Paso in Congress for six years. According to authorities, 22 people were left dead in the mass shooting at a Walmart in the Texas city.

Authorities say they will pursue "domestic terrorism" charges against the suspected gunman, 21-year-old Patrick Crusius.
