PHOTOS: No War in Ukraine Rally Held at RI State House

A coalition of groups held a rally at the Rhode Island State House on Sunday afternoon urging American policymakers to promote a non-military policy in response to the Russian invasion into Ukraine.

“In the 21st century, in the age of weapons of mass destruction, war has no place as a tool of foreign policy," was the theme of the protest organized by the RI Anti-War Committee.

The protest with less than a hundred in the group was peaceful and stood in contrast to the violence sweeping across the Ukraine where thousands of soldiers have been killed, an untold number of civilians have died and more than 1.8 million Ukraine are now refugees.
