As I knock on doors and listen to our community members, inflation and quality of life are the biggest issues we are facing.

2.  What do we need to do to improve Providence's economy?

There needs to be a balance between private businesses and the non profits to offset the costs of services.  The economy does not live in a vacuum.  Runaway inflation is controlled at a higher level of government, however, we can be mindful of costs of services that will ease some of the pain. Currently, the electricity is about to increase and we need to find a way to help the residents offset some of these costs.

3.  What is the greatest challenge facing Providence as a city?

The Pension issue is the looming issue that needs to be effectively addressed.  However, the quality of life issues like safety and services continue to dominate everyday life.

4.  Why are you running for office? What makes you uniquely qualified?

Serving my community is my passion. I have been fortunate to serve our community in different capacities. These experiences drove me to run and represent our ward in a responsible manner. I have been working, quality of life issues raised by our residents during the special elections have been addressed just by using the city's PVD311 website.

5.  Who is your inspiration?

My mother and my grandmother are my inspiration. They have instilled in me that determination and perseverance will lead you to success.
