Two Former Democratic Cranston Mayors Endorse Stycos

“For 20 years he has represented his community and has always had it’s best interest at heart,” said Napolitano, referring to Stycos’s ten years on the City’s School Committee and ten years on the City Council.
Napolitano served as Cranston’s mayor from 2007-2009.

“Steve Stycos rises above for his commitment to the people of Cranston, his diligence to improving their lives,” he added.
Stycos is in a primary on September 8th, and if victorious he will face the Republican opponent in the November 3rd general election. “The people of the city of Cranston would do themselves a wonderful favor in supporting a man of this character,” Napolitano said. “He will be a wonderful mayor.”
Stycos has also been endorsed by a number of current and former City Councilmembers, including:
