5 Takeaways From Bryant's 62-60 Win Over Dartmouth

Shane McLauglin led Bryant with 26 points
The Bryant Bulldogs (3-7) defeated the (4-7) Dartmouth Big Green 62-60 on Thursday afternoon at Leede Arena. The win snaps a 9 game losing streak for Bryant as they begin conference play on Saturday.

With the game tied at 57 with 2{16 to play, the Bulldogs went to Dan Garvin who knocked down a jump shot to give Bryant a 59-57 lead with 1:44 to play.

The Bulldogs forced a turnover on Dartmouth's next possession and after a time out, Shane McLaughlin buried a jumper to increase Bryant's lead to 61-57 with 45 seconds to play in the game. 

Dartmouth would get it to one point, 61-60, after a Evan Boudreaux field goal and had a chance to win the game, after a McLaughlin free throw, on a three-pointer at the buzzer but came up short. 

Bryant held on for the 62-60 win. 

The Leaders

Bryant was led by Shane McLaughlin who poured in a career high 26 points on 10 of 14 shooting from the field. 

Nisre Zouzoua was the only other Bryant player in double figures as he added 13 points.

Next up

Bryant returns home on Saturday to begin NEC play when they host Central Connecticut at the Chase Athletic Center. Tip off is set for 4 p.m.
