Bryant Football Opens Conference Play Against Defending Champ St. Francis

Bryant quarterback Price Wilson
The Bryant Bulldogs football team (2-3) open Northeast Conference play on Saturday when they host defending conference champions (3-2, 1-0 NEC) Saint Francis University.

The Bulldogs are coming off a bye week last week following a 45-17 loss to #15 New Hampshire on September 30.

"I’m expecting our guys to be highly energized. The kids took the bye very seriously in terms of staying in shape and staying ready. It kind of gave us a chance to take a break and regroup after the first few games of the season. I think the kids are ready to play," Bryant head coach James Perry told GoLocalProv.

In last season’s game, Saint Francis cruised past Bryant 38-3 in Pennsylvania.

In the game, Bryant was held to -9 rushing yards and just 158 yards of total offense.
