CVS Health Downtown 5k Set For September 20th

The 26th annual CVS Health Downtown 5k will be held on Sunday, September 20th. Registration for the event is open.

Along with the main 5k race, there will also be races for recreational runners and wheelchair athletes as well as youth races of varying distances.

This year all participants who complete the main 5k race will be rewarded with a finisher's medallion to honor their athleticism and participation in the CVS Health Downtown 5k.

This is the first time in the race's history that this will happen.

The CVS Health Downtown 5k  has raised $1.5 million for charities across Southern New England since CVS Health became the title sponsor in 2000. The Downtown 5k is recognized as a nonprofit organization.
