CVS Health Charity Classic Adds Four to Field, Two Spots Remain

CVS Health Charity Classic co-hosts Brad Faxon and Billy Andrade announced the addition of four more players to the 20 player CVS Health Charity Classic field.

The four additions to the tournament include 2012 U.S. Open Champion Webb Simpson, 2014 U.S. Open runner up and heart transplant survivor Erik Compton as well as future PGA Tour stars Harris English and Russell Henley.

Those four players will join a field that is highlighted by New England's own Keegan Bradley, LPGA Tour star Lexi Thompson as well as the two time defending CVS Health Charity Classic champions Steve Stricker and Bo Van Pelt.

With 18 players currently on the tournament's roster, Faxon and Andrade have two spots to fill with a couple of weeks left before the first tee shot is hit.

This year's tournament will once again be held at Rhode Island Country Club from June 28-30 with the pro-am kicking off the tournament on the 28th. 

The CVS Health Charity Classic is in it's 16th season and has donated over $18 million to local charities since it's inception in 1999.
