I'm looking forward to growing as a player and seeing what my team can accomplish. We just got a new coach and I think she can really take us far.

What has been the biggest challenge being a high school athlete?

My biggest challenge is running the track.

Who is your biggest motivator?

My biggest motivator is definitely my entire team. I'm in this for not only myself, but for my team. I want us to succeed, so I push myself to the limit to achieve this vision.

Who is your biggest rival?

So far, I'm thinking Portsmouth. However, the past two years, we haven't been able to beat South Kingston, so maybe even them...but as of right now, Portsmouth is the win we're most hungry for.

What are you working to improve your game?

I'm working on rolling the crease. It’s by far my favorite shot, and I practice it over and over.

What is your greatest memory on the field?

My greatest memory would be freshman year going into a varsity game for the first time ever and scoring four goals in 10 minutes.

How are you able to balance your schoolwork with practices, games, and training?

Balancing my life has been tough, but not impossible. After school I get my schoolwork done, and nights are dedicated to practice and games.

Where do you see yourself going from here, do you plan to pursue this sport in college?

From here I would love to play in college. I'm looking into UCONN, I have big dreams. I know it will take a lot to get to that level, but I love the game, and my journey cannot end senior year. I'm willing to do anything in order to play at a college level. I'm looking forward to what the future holds in terms of my athletic career.
