I'm looking forward to being part of the Hendricken lacrosse team this year and hopefully becoming this years state champs!

What has been the biggest challenge being a high school athlete?

The biggest challenge of being a varsity high school athlete is the commitment; you spend most of your free time working to improve your game.

What is your biggest motivator?

My biggest motivator this season has to be the fact that I know it is my last year of high school lacrosse. I keep that in mind and work to make it the best year of them all.

Who is your biggest rival?

I know this sounds corny but my biggest rival would have to be myself, I tend to psych myself out and when you’re committed to something that's the last thing you should do.

What are you working to improve your game?

This season I am working on all aspects of my game, I want to become a better stick checker, I want to become better at where I should position myself on the field, and most of all I want to just get into better shape.

What is your greatest memory on the field?

My greatest memory on the field was two years ago during the semi final game verses LaSalle, we were down by a lot but we stuck through it until the end and we were able to clench the win, we gave it our all that game and it definitely showed.

How are you able to balance your schoolwork with practices, games, and training?

Balancing practices, games, training, and schoolwork is a difficult task, but the only way I can keep up with it all is by staying on top of things and by keeping my priorities straight.

Where do you see yourself going from here, do you plan to pursue this sport in college?

Next year I will be attending the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. I don't plan on pursuing lacrosse there because I don't think I would be able to balance the work with the sport, especially because I'm going in as a biology major under the pre-med/ pre-dent program.
