Decision on Brady Appeal Coming Soon, According to Goodell

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has told CNBC that a ruling on Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady's, appeal could come as soon as next week.

Goodell is currently in Idaho  for the Allen & Co. media conference in Sun Valley along with Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft.

Tom Brady's appeal took place on Tuesday, June 23 at the NFL offices in New York and went on for ten hours. Though a second day had been set aside, a second session was not needed.

The appeal comes after the NFL suspended Brady for four games for his role in the deflategate scandal on Monday, May 11.

The NFL also fined the Patriots $1 million and took away a 2016 first round and 2017 fourth round draft pick.

The New England Patriots are set to begin training camp on Thursday, July 30 on the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium.
