Providence College has signed talented transfer guards for next season -- and one Friar is less than pleased.

Brycen Goodine has entered his name into the transfer portal and is exploring transferring from Providence, according to the Verbal Commits social media account.

Goodine was recruited as a combo guard to Providence from Syracuse after his true freshman season in 2019-20.

He played in 21 games last year with the Friars, averaging 1.9 points and 5.8 minutes.

Providence lost two of the three key members of its back-court rotation from this season's team, but filled those spots from the transfer portal. Guard Jared Bynum returns in 2022-2023.

As GoLocal reported, it was a big-time transfer recruiting weekend for the PC Friars, as Devin Carter and Clifton Moore each committed on Sunday morning.

On Friday, former Louisville shooting guard Noah Locke committed to PC.

The Friars lost starters Nate Watson, AJ Reeves, Al Durham, Justin Minaya as well as others from the program.

Goodine is from New Bedford and played his high school ball at St. Andrews in Barrington.
