Andrews played 28 snaps in New England’s preseason win over Carolina last Thursday, but missed the last two days of practice.

Andrews With Patriots

Andrews, 27, signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2015.

Since coming into the league, Andrews has played in 60 career regular-season games and made 57 starts.

He has also started nine playoff games including New England’s last three Super Bowl appearances.

Replacing Andrews

With Andrews out indefinitely, Ted Karras is the likely candidate to replace him at center.

Since starting his career in 2016, Karras has appeared in 45 games for the Patriots at both center and at right guard.

James Ferentz is also on the depth chart as a potential replacement.

He has played 23 career NFL games, with no starts.
