PC Takes Out Frustrations On One of the Worst College Basketball Teams in America

There are 365 Division I basketball teams, and the Providence College men’s basketball team played the #359-ranked team on Tuesday night at home.

 

Fairleigh Dickinson took the punishment for the frustration in Friartown. The Friars led 52-21 at halftime. And Jaylin Sellers led the team with 17.

The Friars won 94-64, but FDU outscored the Friars in the second half 43-42.

 

Jason Edwards led the Friars with 24 points, and Sellers finished with 21.

 

PC reported the attendance at 6,285.  The Friars are now 5-4 on the season.

 

 

NEXT:

PC hosts URI at home on Saturday at 12 noon.

Last year, the Rams beat the Friars 69-63 in Kingston.
