Revs Beat Houston 2-0 at Gillette Stadium

In a game delayed for almost two hours by rain, the New England Revolution defeated (9-9-7) defeated the  (6-9-7)Houston Dynamo 2-0 on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium. 

The rain delay marked the first weather delay of a Revs home game since August of 2003.

Jose Goncalves got the Revs on the board in the 69th minute  to put the Revs up 1-0. Twenty minute later, Juan Agudelo blasted a goal home to put the game away giving the Revolution a 2-0 win.

Wit the win, the Revolution move into a tie for third place in the Eastern Conference with 34 points. New England now has points in each of their last four games, winning three of them. 

The Revs return to action on Saturday, August 29 when they visit Philadelphia. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
