RI's Meehan Becomes All-Time Leading Scorer For Boston College Women's Soccer

"We scored two great goals tonight which always energizes your team. And of course it's a special night for McKenzie Meehan becoming the all-time leading goal scorer at BC," said Boston College head coach Alison Foley after the game.
Meehan is a redshirt junior at BC, missing all of the 2014 season with an Achilles injury.

National Recognition
In 2013, McKenzie Meehan was selected to the U-20 United States National Team and played in the CONCACAF Championship tournament. Meehan was the Co-Golden Boot winner, a trophy which honors the top scorer in the tournament. Meehan tallied six goals.
McKenzie Meehan at LaSalle
While at LaSalle, Meehan led the Rams to four straight state championship titles and never losing a game. LaSalle went 76-0-7 in those four years. Meehan tallied 181 career goals, 80 of which came in her senior season.
Meehan was named 2010 and 2011 RI Gatorade Player of the Year.
McKenzie Meehan
McKenzie Meehan is from Glocester and is the daughter of Mary Lou and John Meehan, who passed away a year and a half ago. McKenzie's twin sister Madison also played soccer at LaSalle and also plays for Boston College.
