Isaiah Thomas poured in 33 points one day after his sister died in a car accident, but it wasn’t enough as the top-seeded Boston Celtics fell 106-102 to the 8th seeded Chicago Bulls in game one of the playoffs on Sunday night at the TD Garden.

The Celtics have now lost home court advantage and will need to win at least one game on the road to win the series.

Thomas’ points came on 10 of 18 shooting from the field in 38 minutes of action.
