Highlights:

- Of his 17 rebounds, 13 came on the defensive end. It was a major reason Fordham was limited to five offensive boards. Fordham entered the game averaging a league-best 13.8 offensive rebounds per game.

- Center Jeremy Foumena had 13 points and five rebounds off the bench. He was 5-of-7 from the field, including a 3-point basket.

- Guard Luis Kortright just missed a double-double. He had 10 points and a season-high nine rebounds.

- Guard Brandon Weston provided nine points on 3-of-4 shooting off the bench.

- Both sides struggled at the free-throw line. Fordham was 9-for-25, while Rhode Island was 18-of-30. After going 11-of-15 in the first half, URI was 7-for-15 in the second half.
