Historic East Side Home Sells for $2.3M — Highest Price Since 2019
166 President -- the highest price paid on the East Side in nearly two years
Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty announced the sale of 166 President Avenue for $2,310,000.The home went under contract less than one week after hitting the market.
According to data available from Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service, the sale of 166 President Avenue is the highest single-family sale on the East Side of Providence since December of 2019, when Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty sold 66 Williams Street.
66 Williams Street remains the most expensive Providence residential sale in MLS history. As GoLocal reported in 2019, former Providence Mayoral candidate Lorne Adrain, who ran unsuccessfully in 2014, bought the East Side property listed at $4.9 million for $4.6 million. SEE PHOTO BELOW
