NEW: Gilbane Development Names Broderick New President

Gilbane Development Company has announced the promotion of Edward Broderick to the office of President.

As President, Broderick will oversee day-to-day operations and foster consistent performance & customer satisfaction.

Since joining Gilbane in 1982, Broderick has acquitted himself with distinction in several large leadership positions. For seven years he worked with Gilbane Building Company before joining Gilbane Development Company as a project manager and progressing to Development Manager, Senior Development Manager, Senior Vice President of Development, and, most recently, Executive Vice President. Broderick brings a wealth of experience, a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing markets, and strong bottom line results.

Broderick received a bachelor’s degree from Manhattan College and MBA in finance from Providence College. In addition, he participated in the executive MBA program at University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Broderick is currently a Director of Gilbane Development Company and a member of the Executive Committee. He serves on the Board of the Narragansett Council Boy Scouts of America and is actively involved with the NAIOP, YMCA and Catholic Relief Services. He is also a member of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society of The United Way.
