Christina Rouse, a broker associate with Sweeney Real Estate & Appraisal, has been honored as the 2024 Realtor of the Year by the Rhode Island Commercial and Appraisal Board of Realtors. This prestigious recognition highlights her exceptional contributions and leadership within the real estate industry.
Christina Rouse is known for her unwavering integrity and commitment to the real estate profession. A dedicated member of the Rhode Island Commercial & Appraisal Board of Realtors since 2014, she has generously devoted her time in various capacities. She has served as the chairperson for both the grievance and education committees, was a board of directors member, and ascended to the presidency in 2023. During her time as President-Elect and President, Ms. Rouse was instrumental in the creation and growth of Commercial Day RI, an annual event that has become renowned for featuring prominent speakers and delivering vital insights to commercial realtors. In 2018, Providence Business News recognized Christina as one of their 40 Under 40 honorees.
Christina’s resume of involvement is impressive, reflecting her deep commitment to giving back to the community. She was a 2018 graduate of Leadership Rhode Island, a Founding Member of the Go Red for Women Young Professionals (American Heart Association), a Founding Member of the Emerging Leaders Council of the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce, a Flagship Member of Tomorrow Women Today, the Bowl for Kids’ Sake Fundraising Chair for Big Brother Big Sisters of Rhode Island, an Executive Committee Member and Fundraising Chair of the Young Leaders Circle of the United Way—where she helped raise $18,000 for summer programs—and a member of the Providence Lady Project.
In addition to her role at Sweeney Real Estate & Appraisal, Christina took on the position of Director of Operations for the New England Society of Office & Industrial Realtors (SIOR) in 2024, overseeing the local SIOR Chapter for the region.
Ms. Rouse will receive this prestigious award at the RICABOR Annual Meeting on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
