Taste of Garden City Center 2017 to Benefit the Community

Cranston's Garden City is set to host the 2017 Taste of Garden City Center featuring a variety of food and live jazz music to benefit the community.

The taste of Garden City will be held on Wednesday, September 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Gazebo in the center of Garden City.

Tickets are $15 and all proceeds will benefit the Comprehensive Community Action Program and the Cranston Chamber of Commerce.

2017 Taste of Garden City

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza will feature samples of chicken wings and meatballs.

Other restaurants that will be featured include Avvio, Bistro 22, Corner Bakery, Edible Arrangements, Newport Creamery, and Pinkberry. 

Whole Foods Market will offer some of its in-house to go items, Williams Sonoma will showcase recipes made from ingredients that can be purchased in store.

For kids, Pottery Barn will be offer Halloween Candy and Sweenor’s Chocolates will provide samples of their Rhode Island made chocolates and confections. 

For entertainment, Garden City Center will feature The Canary Diamonds, the mother and daughter duo of Elaine Sullivan and Jeanne Evans.

This year they will be accompanied by pianist/vocalist Yvonne Monnett and Dennis Pratt on bass along with guest vocalist Emily Moses Jacobs.
