"In July of 2021, our original neon sign that was installed in 1954 was removed from the building for renovation when it was determined that its condition was beyond repair and subsequently, an all-new sign was fabricated and installed in 2022.

On or about February 5th, we will be listing these 5 panels from our original sign separately on the eBay charity site where 100% of all winning proceeds will be donated directly to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.

To answer some questions...

These pics show all 5...front, then back, of each panel (numbered on blue tape shown).

There is a framed (6th panel) "Hot weiners... ' sign that will be auctioned as well.

No neon glass is included, but some glass mounts, wiring and hardware still remain.

The 2 'New York System' panels are approximately 47"w by 34"h, the 2 'Eat' panels are 23"w by 47"h, and the 1 unframed 'Hot weiners, sandwiches' panel is 50"w by 30h".

These will be listed for local pickup, but we will ship at winning bidders expense.

Feel free to ask questions below and we'll try to answer all.

More updates coming soon!"
