RI Health Warns Consumers of White Castle Recall on Frozen Burgers

According to RI Health, no illnesses have been associated with these products to date.
The Recall
GET THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS HERE -- SIGN UP FOR GOLOCAL FREE DAILY EBLASTThe recall impacts products on shelves at select retailers with best-by dates ranging from August 3, 2020, to August 17, 2020.
All products with these dates are being removed from shelves.
Any product with a best by date before or after these dates is not included in the recall.
Customers who may have purchased any of the products are urged to dispose of them or return them to the store where they were purchased for an exchange or full refund.

Listeria Monocytogenesis
Listeria monocytogenesis an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
Healthy people may suffer short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths in pregnant women.
