1st Annual Spring Festival Coming to Purple Cat Winery
The Purple Cat Winery will host the first annual Spring Festival which will include live music, food trucks, face painting, kids bouncy house, wine tastings, indoor and outdoor vendors as well as local artisans.
Festival is Unique
"We are excited to bring a second large family friendly event to the Purple Cat Winery. After a hugely successful four day Christmas Village in December which, drew approximately 3200 people, we realize that this is a perfect destination location for family friendly events. We have already begun construction to extend our parking area and landscape grounds to accommodate more guests and more parking." said Dan Ribeiro, Purple Cat Winery.
The festival itself is free to the public, however to participate in the Cupcake Challenge and have a chance to vote on your favorite cupcakes, tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance for $15.
A portion of the proceeds from the Cupcake Challenge will be donated to the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
"The Spring Festival will add to a schedule of family friendly events being prepared for Purple Cat Winery. We are planning some great things for the event including kids face painting, bouncy house, food trucks, lots of entertainment, vendors and local artisians. It's a great opportunity to create something special and bring guests back in the Spring. In addition to the festival, we've added a Cupcake Challenge on Sunday which, will not only be a popular part of the festivities but, will bring awareness to it's charity of choice RISPCA.” says Pat Paolino Cruz event creator.
Spring Festival will be held from April 9 to April 10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Purple Cat Winery is located on 10 Money Hill Road in Chepachet.
Purple Cat Winery is housed in 11,500 square foot cedar post and beam building, located among the Rhode Island and Connecticut wine antique trails.
