They helped make the banjo a popular rock instrument (once again), and rose to superstardom with catchy melodies and hip lyrics. Mumford and Sons went from indie to mainstream in the course of a couple of years with three of the top selling albums this decade. Monday they visit the Xfinity Center (Great Woods) in Mansfield. They’ve got a more plugged in sound on their new release, Wilder Mind, considered more of a rock album. Tickets range from $45-$65 for the 7PM show. Good seats are still available.
