9th Annual Frozen Clam Dip & Obstaplunge to Benefit MENTOR RI

Laid-back Fitness in Warwick is set to host their 9th annual Frozen Clam Dip and Obstaplunge to benefit MENTOR Rhode Island.

MENTOR Rhode Island is a non-profit organization dedicated to the expansions of mentoring services for Rhode Island kids.

The Frozen Clam Dip and Obstaplungewill take place on New Year’s Day beginning at 12 p.m. at Goddard Memorial State Park Beach.d

The Event 

The event is the only New Year’s Day plunge featuring an obstacle course in the world.

The plunge is for all ages and provides both a traditional plunge into Narragansett Bay and a half-mile American Ninja Warrior type shoreline obstacle course before the plunge.

All proceeds from the event will benefit MENTOR Rhode Island. 

Since its inception in 2011, the event has raised $12,500 for MENTOR RI.
