A Rhode Island brewery is closing this weekend.

Owner Jeremy Ruff shared the following:

Dear Valued Patrons, Staff, and Family,

After much consideration, I have made the decision to sell LineSider Brewing Company. This decision was not made lightly, but after careful thought and a desire to dedicate more of my time to my family, it was clear that this was the right decision for me. We began discussions regarding the sale several months ago, and as we are now approaching the closing date, I must announce that we will cease operations effective Sunday, July 28, 2024.

To our loyal patrons: Thank you for your enthusiasm and loyalty you have shown. Your appreciation for our craft has been a constant source of motivation and inspiration.  We are grateful for the memories we have shared and the friendships we have forged through our passion for great beer.

To our dedicated staff: Your hard work and dedication has been invaluable. A business is only as strong as its staff, and we’ve had the best.  Each one of you has contributed to the success of Linesider Brewing Company, and for that I am forever thankful.

To my family: Your support and encouragement has been instrumental in allowing me the opportunity to pursue my passion and make it a reality.  I could not have pursued this dream without your unwavering belief in me, and for that, we are forever grateful.  I’m looking forward to the next phase of our lives.

Although this chapter is coming to a close, the memories and experiences we have gained will always hold a special place in our hearts. Linesider Brewing Company has been more than a business; it has been a community—a place where friends, families, and colleagues can meet and enjoy a variety of great craft beer.

As we prepare to say goodbye, we invite everyone to visit our taproom for our final week and raise a glass to this incredible journey.
Once again, thank you for being a part of the Linesider Brewing Company family. I look forward to what the future holds and am excited to take this next step.

Cheers,

Jeremy Ruff
