A RI Murder - and Top RI Medical Expert - to be Featured on TV Show “Forensic Files” This Weekend

Dr. Priya Banerjee. who GoLocal tapped as one of “22 to Watch in Rhode Island in 2022” due to her national recognition in the field, will be on the Sunday night episode of the show which airs at 10:30 PM on HLN and multiple additional streaming platforms.
The episode will focus on the forensics involved in solving the homicide of Fernando “Captain Fredy” Silva, which occurred on a boat in Warwick in 2015.

Banerjee’s autopsy — along with the work of the detectives of the case — will be a featured segment of the show.
