City of Providence Set to Host Annual 4th of July Celebration

The Air National Guard band will play at the July 4 celebration
The City of Providence is set to host its annual Independence Day Celebration at India Point Park.

The celebration will take place on Wednesday, July 4 starting at 7 p.m. with a rain date set for July 5.

It is free and open to the public.

The event will feature family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and a fireworks display. 

The featured performers of the City of Providence's Independence Day Celebration will be the Air National Guard Band of the Northeast, which will take the stage at 7:00 p.m.

Visitors to the Independence Day Celebration will be able to enjoy their favorite food trucks with more than 12 local food vendors attending.

Children and adults are encouraged to bike to India Point Park where they can park their bicycles securely for free with Bike Valet operated by Rhode Island Bicycle Coalition between 5:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. near the Vartan Gregorian Elementary School.
