Novelist Christopher Buckley to Give Lecture at Redwood Library

The Redwood Library in Newport has announced the inaugural John Slocum Jr. Memorial Lecture featuring novelist Christopher Buckley.

The lecture titled “My Old Man and The Sea"  is a son’s memoir of sailing adventures with the late William F. Buckley.

It will take place on Friday, October 25 at 6 p.m. at Bazarsky Hall at Salve Regina University.

Buckley is renowned as a novelist, essayist, critic, magazine editor, and memoirist.
