The Tour

The House Tour is a full day invitation to go inside a dozen private homes, studios, and garden on the West Side of Providence.

“The self-guided tour invites visitors and families to step inside West Side houses, remade and invigorated by the creative energy of their owners, and discover the secluded gardens that pepper the neighborhood. More than just a location of beautifully restored and renovated buildings, this neighborhood of Providence has become known as a place for people, with a historic streetscape and a thriving economy that fuels the city’s magnetic, creative energy,” says the WBNA in their press release.

The tour area is set beside the Cranston Street Armory between Harrison and Hamond streets, and includes conversions of an 1870’s former firehouse, an abandoned church, and a modern take on the 19th-century lightning splitter.
