WomensWork Theatre Announces Spring Show "The Madwoman in the Volvo”

WomensWork Theatre in Cranston announced its new show for the spring season.

“The Madwoman in the Volvo” will run from Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 8  at the WomensWork Theatre Collaborative in Cranston.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday.

The Madwoman in the Volvo

The show is written by Sandra Tsing Loh and features Joanne Fayan, MJ Daly and Paula Faber.

The play is about a woman, not choosing to go quietly into her sixth decade, Sandra and friends set a destination for Burning Man, an annual event of half-nude artistic stoners, where she creates a spectacular midlife blow up.

It is based on Sandra Tsing Loh’s acclaimed memoir of the same title, follow Sandra on this comedic and insightful journey as she navigates her way through her middle-age maelstrom.
