59-Year-Old Man Dies in Accident in Bristol

Bristol Police have announced that they are investigating a fatality in the town. 

According to police, on Monday November 4 at approximately 5:28 p.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of 400 Metacom Avenue. 

The incident involved a 59-year-old male resident of Bristol.

The individual sustained serious injuries and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, say police, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The accident is currently under investigation; Bristol Police said they are working to notify the family, and out of respect for their privacy, no names will be released at this time.
